What do I need to bring with me?

We do not supply your linen (sheets and pillowcases), your towels (bath and beach towels), bath matts, tea towels, hand towels, cleaning products, dishwashing liquids, washing powder, hairdryers and any other personal items that you wish to have during your stay. You can however hire your linen through us. Other things such as cots, highchairs & BBQs can be hired through Port Stephens Holiday Hire 0411 872 615.

 

 

When, Where and How can we pick up our keys?

 

Easy! You must pick up your keys from our office which is located at 12 Stockton Street, Nelson Bay and check in is strictly 2pm. If you are checking in after hours (9-5pm Mon through to Saturday), on a Sunday or a public holiday you must let us know if we haven’t already spoken with you as we will need to give you the key collection instructions as we will leave your keys in our "lock box". We'll simply give you a code to open the box and you can collect the keys at any time you like.

 

 

What is the check-in and check-out times?

You can pick up your keys from our office anytime after 2pm and check out is 10am. You must leave the property no later than 10am and then drop the keys back down to our office.

 

 

Do we have to provide you with a Security Bond?

Yes, as we require this when your balance is due we will ask you for your visa or mastercard details as you are required to leave these details with us during your stay. We do not deduct any amount from your card, we literally just hold onto your details. However, if you were to damage anything in the property or leave the property in an unclean state for example, dishes not washed, dried and put away or rubbish not removed and put into the garbage bin, you will more than likely be charged. If you do not have a visa or mastercard to provide us with, you will be asked to pay a $500 cash bond which you will receive back within 14 days after you vacate if everything is fine.

 

Do I have to provide my credit card details over the internet?

If you prefer not to, you don't have to. When booking online you can elect to go ahead with the online credit card facility or to contact us to make payment. If however you do put the payment through online, one of the staff members from Omeara Property will give you a call if we haven’t already spoken to you as we need to manually save your credit card details to your file for the security bond.

 

How up to date is the availability shown on the site?

Our website is updated every few seconds from the internal booking software at O'Meara Property. The only time a property will show as being available when it might not be is if another person has requested a booking and the booking hasn't yet been processed by our staff. The only time this should happen is after hours or for a short period during working hours.
If two or more booking requests are received for the one property, who gets it? First come, first served! If however, the person making the first request cannot be contacted within a reasonable time frame, we'll move to the next request.
